Teams
The Teams feature lets you work together with other Shapespark users in one shared account. It’s useful when multiple people need access to scenes, uploads, or project management in one place.
Teams are available in the Standard, Plus, and Premium plans. If you are using a one-time (perpetual) license, this feature is not available. To create a team, you also need an active subscription.
How it works
The team is managed by the account owner, who can invite other Shapespark users and decide what they can do.
Each added team member increases the subscription price based on the selected plan.
How to create a team
To add someone to your team:
- Go to the Teams tab at https://cloud.shapespark.com/
-
Click Add member
- Enter the user’s Shapespark username
(They need to already have a Shapespark account, for example a trial account) - Choose their permissions
- Confirm the changes - you’ll see how the price updates before finalizing
Permissions
You can assign one of the following roles to each team member:
-
Application only
The user can use Shapespark, but cannot upload scenes. -
Upload own scenes
The user can upload new scenes and update only the scenes they uploaded. -
Upload all scenes
The user can upload and update any scene in the account.
Uploading scenes
When uploading a scene from the Shapespark desktop app, users can choose where to upload it - either to their own account or to a team account if they are part of one.
